Privacy Policy
strvx (“strvx”, “we”, “us”) is an AI consulting company based in San Diego, California. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit strvx.com, book a call with us or talk to us, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to team@strvx.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
- When you book a call: your name and email address, and if you choose to give them, your phone number, company and any notes about what you would like to discuss, along with the time you pick.
- When you email us or otherwise contact us: whatever you include in your message.
Calls
Discovery calls take place over video. With your agreement, we may record and transcribe a call using a meeting note-taking service, and keep the summary, action items and transcript with your booking so we can follow up properly. We will tell you before we record, and you can ask us not to.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: the pages you visit, the links and buttons you click, how you got here, your approximate location (worked out from your IP address) and basic device and browser details, collected through our website analytics tools. One of these tools sets a first-party cookie so it can tell a return visit from a new one.
- IP address: recorded when you submit a booking, so we can limit repeated or abusive requests. We delete these records after 24 hours.
How we use it
- To schedule and hold calls, send confirmations and reminders, and reply to you.
- To keep a record of our conversations and follow up about a possible project.
- To deliver work we are engaged to do.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To protect the site and our booking system from abuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run strvx, under terms that limit how they may use it:
- Calendar, video meeting and email providers, to schedule calls and send messages.
- Hosting and database providers, to run the site and store booking records.
- Website analytics providers, to measure site usage.
- Meeting note-taking providers, for calls recorded with your agreement.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, for example for the length of a working relationship and a reasonable period after it, or longer where the law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to team@strvx.com. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion and correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither); and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. To make a request, email us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it, and you can use an authorized agent.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our site and services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Where we process information
We are based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above.
